If you have been reading the blog, then you know that we began a two week tour, last Wednesday! Our first stop was in Pigeon Forge, TN for the annual NACMAI competition. Jason entered the male vocalist category, singing his new songs, "Mother Please Forgive Me", and "Promise of a Pardon". I am so proud of him. First, and foremost, he stayed true to God, and himself, in this competition, and I am so happy to say; he won 2016 Male Vocalist of the Year!
We are now in the middle of our second location, Oxford, and Sylacauga, AL. I have never been to this part of AL, and I have already shared this on fb, but I must say, I am loving AL. The people are so nice, they actually understand what y'all means, they use phrases that we understand, like "By George", and they "reckon", they are "fixin" to go to Wal-mart, to top it all off, I won two free nights at a hotel stay anywhere in the US, from a particular hotel, and the best part.....They have a Western Sizzlin Restaurant. It just keeps getting better.
Tomorrow, we hope to drive to the beach and spend the day with the kids, and then it is on to Soperton, GA. We will be at Christian Family Center, an addiction facility for men. We are looking so forward to this opportunity. Please be in prayer for us, that God will lead us in the direction, to be able to minister to these men.
Friday, we will be making our way to the great state of AK, and we will be spending the remainder of our tour in various parts of AK. We are looking forward to this as well, and we know that God is going to bless these services also. Please continue to pray that God would keep his hand upon us, and keep us safe. As always, if you have a need that you would like us to pray about, please e-mail us, and we would be happy to join you in prayer. This has definitely been a "Hard Day's Night"!
Until Next Time,
Jason & Heather
